Just Call my Name [Canada X Reader]

World War II. Your country is in the verge of falling. But luckily, you had shot the las pt mas standing on the battle field. But alas, you had a gunshot just beside your heart. You knew you were going to die. No doubt about that. You just wished you could see him, one last time.

Fresh tears rolled down your cheek as you looked around. Dead, bloodied bodies were scattered everywhere of your comrades and enemies. None were breathing except you, and even yours started to weaken.

All you could think about now, was Matthew. And how you really wished for him to be here. But in your situation, it seemed impossible. He didnt even know where you were or if you were in trouble or not.

Your vision started to blur as more blood made its way out of your chest. You fell to the ground, clutching your bleeding wound.

"M-Matthew."

In the other side of the world, a man with blonde hand, clutched his bleeding arm as he turned around to face the field of soldiers infront of him.on the ground, lay lifeless bodies of his comrades and enemies.

He had heard a soft voice, calling his name.

"[Name]?"

He wasnt sure about what he had heard, but he was sure it was you. Suddenly he felt light throb on his chest.

"No. It couldn't be." You were it trouble.

Quickly, he took his rifle and ran through the field of soldiers, headed for the jet planes. He was determined to get to you. He shot any enemy who was on his way. He had to be by your side. He knew he needed to.

"Hang on [Name], I'm coming."

But just as he had step on the plane, he felt a sudden spark of pain, rushing through his chest. He looked down to see blood moving out of a wound by his chest. He coughed. He turned around to see a soldier, just about to shoot him again, but luckily he was shot before he could inflict more damage on the Canadian.

He clutched his chest and went on the plane. He needed to get to you, no matter what happens.

He sat on the pilot's chair then turned on the engine.

You couched a bit of blood which trailed down your mouth. The pain was unbearable! It was like a heartbreak. Well. Not like you've experienced one ever, since Matthew really was, the only one. You loved how his bright indigo eyes beamed through with excitement despite the hurtful words thrown at him by the other countries. You hoped he was fine. He was everything to you.

"Matthew." You call as another tears slipped away from your eye.

Suddenly, you hear a loud noise. Slowly you turn to see a jet plane landing roughly a few meters away from you. Stepping out was a certain blonde Canadian you loved ever so dearly.

"[Name]!! What happened to you!" Matthew ran to you his face full of worry as he clutched his chest.

"How'd you find me?" You ask, your tone barely above a whisper.

He smiled sadly  as he laid beside you, "You called for me didnt you?"

More tears started to spill from your eyes as you stare at him. You knew this was how your life would end. You were glad he was by your side. Why now, though?

Tears started to flow form his eyes as he smiled at you. "I love you [Name]."

"I love you too. Mattie."

Then, a flash of warm and radiant light, covered your surroundings.

"Mattie. Mattie." A certain [h/c] haired girl ran through the field of flowers, calling for his lover.

A man with shining blonde hair and cyan blue eyes approached form a nearby oak tree, coming to greet the girl, with a smile.

"Yes, [Name]?"

As she noticed him, she ran to him, greeting him back with a hug. "Mattie. Mattie. I love you, Mattie!"
